Thea Brix

Sopran fra Trondheim. Våren 2023 ble hun uteksaminert fra masterstudiet i Opera ved Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo. Hun startet å synge i Nidarosdomens jentekor som tiåring, og har siden da hatt stor interesse for klassisk sang. Hun har deltatt i flere store prosjekter med blant annet Opera Trøndelag og Trondheim Symfoniorkester & Opera. I tillegg synger hun ofte på større og mindre konserter og eventer både for privatpersoner og bedrifter. Hun har blitt undervist av blant andre Kåre Bjørkøy, Elisabeth Meyer-Topsøe og Toril Carlsen. Våren 2021 og 2022 mottok hun stipend fra skipsreder Tom Wilhelmsens stiftelse for videre masterstudier ved Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo, og i 2023 fikk hun stipend fra Kulturrådet for nyutdannede kunstnere.

Soprano from Trondheim. In the spring of 2023 she graduated from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts with a masters in Opera. She started singing in Nidaros Cathedral Girls Choir at the age of ten, and since then has had an interest in classical singing. She has partaken in several projects with amongst others Opera Trøndelag and Trondheim Symphony orchestra and opera. In addition she often sings at different concerts and events both public and private. Amongst her previous teachers are Kåre Bjørkøym Elisabeth Meyer-Topsøe and Toril Carlsen. In spring of 2021 and 2022 she received a scholarship fra Tom Wilhelmsen foundation for her master studies in opera, and in 2023 she was granted a scholarship from the Norwegian council of culture for newly graduated artists.
